“Hello Brad,

Just wanted to drop you a quick hello and thank you again for the always quick replies, great suggestion re spending extra night there and ensuring contact and lodging!

Just sent you a text with a few pics of the hogs we took!

This was an absolutely outstanding time in the woods…the lodging was very clean, quiet and relaxing…the cooking was nothing short of great, the young ladies handling the meals were so friendly and ensured we always had a full glass of orange juice, iced tea or coffee…their biscuits and food were so good that it was difficult to stop eating…

Also need to tell you that my Brother and I could not have been happier with our guides…Unbelievably humble warriors…Freely sharing hunting tips, asking us for our preferred method of hunting, encouraging us to wait for the animal we wanted rather than trying to hurry a shot, sharing stories…those guys know the land and their joy of being outdoors was infectious…These guys, Butch and Dougie, made the trip and transcended the time well beyond a successful shot…

Also need to give our respect to the butcher/taxidermist M.R…He was there as soon as we landed back at the lodge, took care of transport of the animal and asked detailed questions about desired cuts of meat…My Brother and I have been on a few hunts together, and as the gray in our chops gets more pronounced, we also decided to have the hunt preserved with a head mount for our respective shots…I am now back two days, cooking the steaks and sausage he brought to us personally before we left…My family just devoured two pounds of the sausage he ground, I apparently did not immediately open enough ham steaks either because they were gone before I was able to try the first package….hoping his taxidermy is as good lol!

Much Respect to the collective outfitter family…Thanks again for your help…

Strength,”
